We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to the National Scholarship Portal, any Union ministry, any state government or department, the UGC, AICTE, any university, or any private foundation or trust named on this site. Scheme names, portal names and institution names appear here for identification and reference only.

We never process applications, collect documents, charge fees or act as an intermediary. If any person or website claims to guarantee you a scholarship in exchange for money, that is a scam — and it is not us.

Dates and amounts change every year

Scholarship schemes are revised annually. Award amounts change, income ceilings are raised or lowered, eligibility criteria are narrowed or widened, application windows shift by weeks, closing dates are extended without notice, and schemes are merged, renamed, suspended or discontinued outright. A figure that was correct when we recorded it may be out of date by the time you read it.

The application windows shown on this site are explicitly labelled as typical — they describe the months in which a scheme has usually opened in the past. They are a signal to go and check the official portal, not a statement that applications are open, and never a specific deadline. Where we display no window at all, it is because we have no reliable basis for one.

The official portal is authoritative

Wherever this site and an official source disagree, the official source is right and we are wrong. Before applying, always confirm the current eligibility criteria, required documents, award amount, income limit, opening date and closing date on the official portal or notification for that scheme. Do the same before making any decision that depends on a date, such as when to collect certificates or arrange institute verification.

Accuracy: what we do and where it stops

Every entry here is compiled by hand from official sources and re-checked periodically. Entries we could not fully verify carry a visible note saying so. That said, this is a small independent project covering dozens of schemes across many states, and we make no warranty — express or implied — that any information here is complete, current or accurate. Gaps and errors are possible and, over a long enough period, likely. Treat this site as a starting point for your own verification, not a substitute for it.
